Yes, you can use Ngenuity to assign them to the different buttons. Select your mouse, click on the button to reassign, select Macro, then customize and assign the macro.

I want to reposition the grip tapes. Will it stick onto the mouse?

The grip tapes are recommended for a single application. You can run into trouble reapplying them on the mouse or other products.
